"This was a great find for me. It mixes two worlds that I dig HARD. The soul and the Wu-Tang world worlds don't exactly colide, but more kiss each other, maybe on the nose. This is some of the soul songs that Wu-Tang took samples from. It is compiled by RZA. It is a great listen. All of the songs are great, and it is fun to pick out the samples used. You may also recognize samples used by other artist. The liner notes has the Wu songs that each was used in, but that wouldn't be any fun if I posted that. Right?? So download it and see what you can hear."

"I guess this is an infamous album at this point. Any way you slice it, it's great. This is another meeting of hip-hop and soul. DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist go back and forth with old soul 45's. There is a sequel called Product Placement, but I don't think it is as good. This cd is only two tracks, each about 25 minutes, and the second just as good as the first. I think it is a good cd to put on at almost any time with almost any crowd. Shadow and Chemist keep the scratching to a minimum and focus on the mix. Some of the interludes are a bit much, but it is overall lots of fun."
